Evening all –
Just been browsing flyertalk and seen rumours that BA are expected to move their OPO flights from LHR to LGW as of October. Wondering if any knowledgeable folk on here have read similar, or otherwise?
OH and I are regulars on this flight, flying it c 5 times a year, as he is from the city and his family still live there. Bit annoying if it is the case as LGW euroflyer service isn’t as great, and LGW location also not as ideal for us… but also very surprising, given how many folks on our flight last Wednesday were clearly transitting at LHR from the USA to the city!
Appreciate this is a first world problem, however we’re planning future flights for later this year and so far the direct flights are not loaded in to the BA intenerary… so guess it is true.
Yep, had an email saying my Easter ‘24 flights are moving to Gatwick
They have moved already for the winter season.
