Assuming @Ranger43 that your booking is between the 13th and 20th November? Which would make sense as they will likely need to replace a lot of the inventory that was purchased from Hilton, and will only keep open the rooms needed for contractual purposes like bus tours.
Yes it was the 20th

The other option is to book Al Maha meet and greet, (at a cost, free if gold and above), they will whisk you through transit and get you to the next gate on time,I have used them many times. it will save booking a hotel

They’re a lot of Hiltons to choose in Dubai, we have stayed 5 times at the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah 5 times in the last 18 months, the Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah is at the beginning of the palm, the hotel has a lot of good bars and restaurants, we like McGettigan’s Factory an Irish bar/ food with live music at the weekends, with regards to breakfast, if you go to the main restaurant on the ground floor diamonds gat an additional menu with 5 items,(It changes every 4 days), the executive has a good selection of drinks and food, don’t look for much of an upgrade if any, My last upgrade was after complaining , was the same room 6 floors higher, they have a reasonable beach across the boardwalk.Conrad
We have stayed here a few times also, last time we were upgraded to a suite, breakfast is has a good selection, It is handy for the airport and tram station in front, the pool area was being refurbished the last time we were there.Hope this has been some help.

We have flown EDU-DOH-DXB 4 times and once EDI-DOH-AUH in the last 14 months, it has always been quite tight, when arriving in Doha from Edinburgh you have to go through transit security, don,t know about other UK airports, (it can be busy if the is a few planes at the same time) on the positive side we have always made it.

Just back from a trip to Doha, we bought the travel insurance on top off our existing worldwide travel insurance (because we thought it was a must, app £11 each) My wife carries medication with a doctors letter, we were never questioned, when we arrived there was a bit of a back log at immigration, my wife falls under the disabled category which we went straight through the disabled lane.
One other thing,
We wrongly assumed it was the same as UAE on duty free, we had purchased a bottle of alcohol at Edinburgh airport and had it confiscated at Doha, apparently you are not allowed to take alcohol into the country, (I was not alone) I think something should flaged up at your departure airport when you scan your boarding pass for the purchase informing you of the restrictions.
You can collect it on your departure from customs, ours was lost.
We did have a good holiday
