Thanks both of you. Of course, the BA flight doesn’t get in until 2.10am….I guess 3am+ at a hotel earliest?..bit early for check-in so we’ll have to bite the bullet and book a room, despite the time !

As a follow-up. My wife and I are part of our household account. We both have one outstanding B’card voucher, earned individually. Going into her account, or mine, we are both showing the two vouchers available….not just hers or mine, but both…does that sound correct?

    Or check the actual T&Cs

Over the years I’ve come to the realisation that a lot of people simply (a) have no idea what vouchers they actually have and / or (b) just assume that all credit card vouchers are the same.

Thanks, I checked these terms earlier as well…shame, but still exUK only.

These are applicable to the BAPP voucher, not the Barclays one (unless I’ve missed a BIG announcement). Would it not be better to query this under the article, though, for full context?

You can actually start anywhere with this voucher now, not just UK/ROI/Spain.

I haven’t read the comments, but are they inferring or implying?

The responses referred to the B’card voucher, and I think I would get a more definite response on here.

Did you use any particular sim card, or pick one up at the airport?

Our plans are coming together..fly in from Miami and immediately connect to an island flight for a few days, and back on a ferry to the mainland for 7/10 days. Sounds sensible ? Tx.

No, need to do a bit of research! All we know is a friend who died said that if he had one wish, it would be to retire in Belize. So we would like to visit ourselves.

Thanks one and all, for the quick responses.
All booked easily on line via MIA with Avios Club. No problem with availability, surprisingly. And with the best part of a month away, should easily be able to pick up a last minute cruise to somewhere as well. Now to see what accommodation looks like. Thanks again.

Coincidentally we were talking about Belize the other day, so I had a quick look on ba.com and there are, for example, 7 economy award seats showing for Jan 20th, MIA-BZE. Prices start at 16k avios plus $6 tax. (Tax will probably be a fair bit more on the inbound, however).

AA avios prices are quite high so it’s worth comparing with a cash booking before you make a decision.

There might be a couple of routing via other central American cities which might fit in with an IB booking.

    Thanks. On BA.com, 2x Economy returns (mia/belize) = £147.60 + 64000 Avios. Where do I look for your 16k + $6 ? Thanks.

Thanks, as a novice in this ‘game’. Just so frustrating and unnecessary I think. Any thoughts on my Q2 ?!

Now that the BA Android app has been updated, it is no longer possible to see the voucher in your account. So where is the, ‘pay and upgrade ‘ gone to or is it no longer available on the app…..on line only ?
It was so easy to redeem from your account, in the good old days….3/4 weeks ago.
    Thanks.

And to change in MMB, could include changing the return airport as well, assuming Avios availability ?
Or would it be best to call back to BA London for that sort of change?

Can I please clarify as the question hasn’t been answered.
If I spend £20k in one year with the Barclaycard Plus card, is that one voucher or two ?
If not, stop at the first voucher, and go on to your partners card, and sort of, repeat, back and forth ?

I think this is probably a good move (albeit I would like to see more MAN services!) CUN is a hugely popular destination with lots of accommodation options, so this will tie in well with Virgin Holidays. I don’t think any other carrier flies LHR-CUN currently, and of course as mentioned in the press release, there are numerous onward travel opportunities on partner airlines.

Nearly 200 destinations available from MAN, and you want more ! ?
