    @KCB I think BAEC no longer allow you to input / save credit card info in advanced without making online booking anymore. The only way I can think of is make a dummy booking, store/save your credit card info and call BA to cancel your booking within the 24 hrs “cooling off” period.

    Please can you tell me how you saved your credit card information in advance? I can’t find a way of doing this without making a booking.

    Thank you. Do you know what happens to the membership reward points? I have already spent them, so I think it would show as a negative balance when I take out an Amex again in the future?

    I received the bonus the day after the original points completed. Mine was Holland & Barrett and they completed within a few days.

    EDITED to say I’ve found this information on smart with points:
    Some categories are excluded from the bonus, including travel, utilities, telecoms, banking, and insurance. The John Lewis 50% bonus specifically only runs from 24 November to 7 December 2025, so time that purchase accordingly.

    The person I spoke to said they didn’t have Airlink flights at all (even though I could see others available). I gave up in the end and paid for the flight direct

    Mine is still blocked. I got an email saying my ID has expired and I need to update in the app, but I only set up my account this month and no prompts come up when I open the app. I’ve had one email saying it’s been referred to the team, but no reply to chat messages. I’ve given up and have booked my trip via third parties in sterling. It’s cost a bit more, but I’d rather hit my spend targets and get my vouchers than miss out completely. I think I’ll be cancelling my curve card 🙂

    My card was also blocked last week. Foreign currency, but I approved the spend in the app. No one has contacted me and no response to my message. I was considering trying it for another transaction though as no where in the app does it say it’s blocked.
