I recently signed up for the Qatar loyalty program in order to benefit from the Avios tie up.
No problem signing up and received the Avios bonus but a few weeks later I now find I get an ‘account restricted’ notification when I try to sign in.
I’ve tried calling but that’s been a waste of time as I’m just met with an apology and told to call back in 24 hrs or 48hrs.
Anyone aware of the problem and if it’s likely to be sorted soon?
@smitrax did you resolve this issue? The same thing has happened to me and despite repeated attempts to contact Qatar my account is still restricted!
I posted on another Qatar thread about this, but Yes, I have exactly the same issue and am battling to get any meaningful response from Qatar CS
