Forums Other Housekeeping Best flight log apps

Apologies if this is the wrong section of the forum to write this, please feel free to move elsewhere.

I was wondering if people take a record of there flights and travels and if so how?

I follow an F1 photographer called Kym Illman and his travel videos fascinate me, he tends to make a ‘stats’ video at the end of the season where he talks about how many flights, miles etc he’s traveled over the year and uses a app called flighty.

I’ve recently downloaded myFlights and I find it interesting going over the numbers and seeing where I’ve been on the map. I must add I’m an Android user.

    Thank you for any suggestions.

I’ve got the Flighty lifetime membership and am a fan, think I’m caught up back to 2005 now…! But yes, gather it’s not available on Android 🙁

Flighty (iOS) is great but the Premium membership is expensive. Last time they wanted £50 for a year and that’s a bit too rich for my humble circumstances.

You can use Kayak and it does that for free

Myflightpath.club is free and works very well. You can add as much or as little detail as you like about each flight you take.

For Android, I’ve been quite impressed with ByAir.

You can get the app a little bit cheaper if you buy from the Flighty website, rather than through the app itself. It’s priced in USD though, so you’d want to use a card with no foreign exchange fees. It’s about £43ish if you buy the one-year gift card, for instance.

I second ByAir, as I’m also an Android user. I also like myflightradar as it’s simple. Logmytrip are another good one (more data points to add as such takeoff/arrival runways, flight costs, sequence number, etc)

I do use Kayak but it’s nowhere near as nice to use as Flighty.
