I was charged £250 when my card renewed this year. My renewal date is end of August before the fee increased but because they add it to your next statement mine was charged in September, at the higher rate. Anyone else in the same position and if so have you had any luck in getting the fee refunded?

Many had the issue including myself but was refunded the £55 after a few weeks automatically, if you havent been refunded then a chat/ call should sort it

It took me 3 phone calls over 2 months to finally get the refund. I was told it was only supposed to be for new applications in Aug and not renewals and that I was getting the refund as a goodwill gesture. Then when my next statement arrived there was a 2nd £55 refund credited which specifically said membership free credit. So a result for me – I only paid £140 for my fee this year.
