Hello. I have an Economy Basic HBO ticket LHR to Amsterdam. I know I need to pay to choose seats in advance but when I go to MMB on the website or try the app it does not give me an option to choose my seat. Is this an IT glitch or is it no longer possible to choose seats in advance of check-in on the Economy Basic fare? Thanks.
As far as I’m aware you have never been able to choose seats with Economy Basic fares unless you have status. You get what you’re given at check in.
Edit: having just looked the website does say you should be able to pay to choose in advance of check in. The limitation is that you still have to pay to choose after check in.
Thanks @AndrewT. So it looks like a glitch then. Hopefully not an issue with my booking! I have checked and it has been ticketed.
